The easiest way to reach the Palm in Dubai is through a taxi that will drop you at the Palm Gateway Monorail Station. Along the way, you get a glimpse of the View of the Palm from the train since the railway line is elevated.

Apart from a taxi, you can also use the Metro. The only problem is that the Metro and Monorail are not connected. This means you have to walk about 15 minutes from the metro station to the railway station. There are plans to connect these two soon. If you choose to use Metro, be careful as the area is developing rapidly, and the directions between the two stations keep changing.

At the Palm Gateway Monorail Station, wait for the train to arrive. The station is clean and safe to wait and the journey will take about ten minutes. It stops in two stations along the way to allow people to alight or board but still stops in two incomplete stations which are not in use yet because it’s automatic.

The Palm Jumeirah is one of the world’s most unique developments. It is a haven for tourists, and how it was built in a palm tree shape is fantastic. The giant archipelago gives you an out-of-this-world view of Dubai city and the desert surrounding the city. It is worth trying out if you love going on vacations.
